In desperation we widened our search to lock for anywhere within an hour's drive of the North Shore and that is how we found ourselves here. I've worked for businesses in the Wellsford community throughout that time and have enjoyed getting to know the great people and families from the area. We quickly grew to love the place but it wasn't till we did an open home with our initial house, and we had to leave for the day (after several years of weekends home renovating and going nowhere but Mitre 10) we discovered the amazing local beaches within 30mins of where we lived. I feel very fortunate to be able to walk to work. Especially since 6 years on it takes much longer than an hour to drive to the North Shore.
